The InTouch Philosophy

One team. One mindset. One purpose. Everything we coach — every session, every age group — runs through the same identity.

With the Ball

Dominate the ball. Dominate the game. Dictate the tempo.

  • Dominate possession — value the ball, stay composed, pass with purpose.
  • Dominate the game — control space, create numerical advantages, make opponents react to us.
  • Dictate the tempo — know when to accelerate the attack and when to slow it down.
  • Move together — width, depth, and support around the ball at all times.
  • Be fearless — take calculated risks, attack space, finish with confidence.

We do not simply possess the ball. We use possession to control and dominate the game.

In Transition

React together. Move together.

  • Win it back, then decide — scan immediately, recognize space, attack quickly or establish controlled possession.
  • Lose it, react instantly — counterpress together when we can; otherwise recover into a compact shape, fast.
  • Attack together, defend together — no player transitions alone.
  • Technically confident, tactically intelligent — transitions are where both are proven.

The ultimate goal: players who are technically confident, tactically intelligent, mentally resilient, and committed to the whole team.

The Lion Mentality

We play with the heart of a lion. Six words every InTouch player lives by:

01
Fearless

Compete with courage.

02
United

Move and fight together.

03
Disciplined

Honor our responsibilities.

04
Intelligent

Think before acting.

05
Relentless

Never stop competing.

06
Composed

Stay calm under pressure.

How We Defend: By Thirds

Our defensive strength comes from collective organization — compact, disciplined, relentless. Pick a third of the field to see how the Lions work there.

BACK MIDDLE ATTACKING

Programs by Age

Three stages, one pathway. Every player is evaluated and trains from an individual development plan — that structure is what separates an academy from pickup sessions.

Enter a player's age and we'll point you to the right group.

Parent Questions

What does "club-neutral" mean for my player?

InTouch is a training academy, not a competing club. Your player keeps playing for their own team — they come to InTouch for extra, high-quality training and take what they learn back with them. Club coaches across the region send us players because we develop them, never recruit them away.

What should my player bring to a session?

Cleats (or turf shoes indoors), shin guards, a water bottle, and a ball if they have one. InTouch provides the training equipment — balls, cones, pinnies, and portable goals — plus a first-aid kit at every session.

How are training groups formed?

By age band first — Cubs (6–8), Development (9–12), Competitive (13–19) — and by level within the group, so every player trains at the right challenge point. Groups stay small: 6–10 players per coach.

What happens in bad weather?

Winter training runs indoors, so the block keeps moving. For outdoor sessions, weather calls are communicated to parents through the group channel with as much notice as possible, and missed sessions are made up within the block.

Is there a plan for my player's progress?

Yes — every player is evaluated and trains from an individual development plan, with clear communication to parents on what we're building and what's next. That structure is the difference between an academy and pickup sessions.
